What data we collect and why we collect it

As the function of this website is to collect and display resources, there is no personal data requested or collected.  Cookies are not used, and there is not a sign up page for any users of this site. The only information gathered and maintained by this site is the information that is submitted by you to be used as a resource guide.  No other information, including user comments, are permitted.  The reason for this is simple.  We are only interested in the resources that are identified as providing assistance to their community.  Should you have any comments or suggestions, send me an email. All information submitted will be checked by admin for accuracy.  This is done by contacting the organization identified to verify the information submitted.  Although we cannot (at this time) think of a reason that this would occur, the organization may not allow this information to be displayed in our list.  For this reason, information that you posted may not be included on the Resource Guide page.  This site will maintain the name of the organization and its decision to be removed only.   This will not be displayed in our list, but will be maintained by our database to prevent this organization’s name from appearing on the list in the future. All submissions will be checked daily for new submissions.  This website will be in maintenance mode for approximately 1 hour while they are being identified for processing.  The organization that you submitted will be contacted, and, if approved, your submission will be added to our Resource List.
