How We Serve

Bible Verses…

The Bible is a book of instructions for all Christians.  These are just a few of the versus that tell us how to serve…

· 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

· Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

· Acts 20:35 “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

· Romans 12:13 “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need.  Practice hospitality.”

· 1 Corinthians 10:24 “No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.”

· Matthew 25:35-36 “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

· Mark 12:31 “The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

And the best gift that anyone could ever receive:

· John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
